Hi, I'm Lois

Your Career Coach

I'm an ICF-certified leadership coach with a JD and an MA in Organizational Psychology. My background spans law, technology, higher education, and professional services and I work primarily with women leaders navigating complexity, transition, and growth.

I created Ascend because I know what it's like to feel stuck at a crossroads. You know you’re capable and ambitious, but perhaps unclear about the right next move.

Early in my career, I spent too much time second-guessing myself, listening to everyone else's opinions, and trying to figure it out alone. I know the mental and emotional weight of indecision, and how much it costs in terms of time, energy, and missed opportunities.

I also know that with the right support, this doesn't have to be a years-long struggle. 

You can gain clarity faster. You can make decisions from a place of confidence and alignment. And you can build the strategic judgment that will serve you for the rest of your career.

That's what Ascend is designed to do: help you stop spinning and start moving forward with intention, clarity, and a plan that's grounded in who you are and what you truly want.

Coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. We're not processing your past — we're building your future. While we may explore patterns and beliefs, our primary focus is on clarifying your direction and creating a concrete plan to get there. This is strategic, results-driven work for high-performing professionals.

What if I'm not sure whether I want to stay in my current role or leave?

That's exactly why this coaching exists. You don't need to have the answer when we start — you need clarity to make the decision. We'll explore what's driving your uncertainty, what matters most to you, and what each path would require. By the end, you'll know which direction you're moving toward.

What are the payment options?

Pay in full: 100% is due at the time of signing your coaching agreement.

Split payment: 50% is due upon signing, and the remaining 50% is due 30 days after your contract date.

What is the time commitment?

Between sessions, most clients spend about 45–90 minutes completing reflection prompts, structured exercises, or preparing materials we’ll review together.

Can my employer sponsor this?

Yes. Many participants use professional development or learning budgets. I’m happy to work with you to make employer sponsorship straightforward.

How do I know if I'm ready for this?
